PANEL ONE

Dawn looks out to Harper and Minnie as they run away from her, holding their swords out and smiling.

DAWN (Voiceover): As the Competition continued and school closed down-

Harper and Minnie stopped hanging out with me.

They stopped talking to me entirely.

I was abandoned

Harper and Minnie lean into Dawn, smiling.

DAWN (Voiceover): They were chosen...

...Now they had their Spirits as friends-

DAWN (Voiceover): There was no point in hanging out with a mortal anymore.

Harper and Minnie walk away from Dawn in a school hallway, Dawn sits behind a locker sadly.

DAWN (Voiceover): I heard them say that. They were always whispering to their Spirits... They said I was just a liability to be cut off.

PANEL SIX

Dawn stands back on the beach, looking to Ren and Ida.

DAWN: After that, I felt like... the only way I could feel good about myself was if I could get a Conjurer to like me.
