CELIA: Get her! Show this goth clown who she’s messin’ with!

Panel 2

Ren as she readies her stance and holds her hand out, a hazy sword beginning to glow in her hands. In front of her, high in the air are BULLIES #1 and #2 holding swords ready to come crashing down on her. Two spirits float above each bully. Caliburn floats above Ren’s own appearing sword.

CALIBURN: Now is the time to strike! Show them our power, Ren!

Panel 3

Side view of the action. Angle on Ren, crouched low, sliding on the ground with her sword poking the sky. BULLY #1 dives straight through it, with the sword slicing his belly and glowing light bursts out. BULLY #2 is on the other side of BULLY #1 and partially obscured. BULLY #1’s Spirit’s shape warps as it starts to drift into Ren’s sword.

CALIBURN: Get low! Crouch and slide, Ren!

Panel 4

Ren looks out at her sword, still crouched but holding her sword straight out. BULLY #1’s Spirit color is swirling around Ren’s sword. Behind her, BULLY #2 has hit the ground and turns to look at Ren. 

REN: Whoa.

SFX: Thud!

CALIBURN: I told you we were special, Ren. 

CALIBURN: This is my secret ability! With every Conjurer you defeat, a fraction of their power is absorbed by my blade and we become stronger!

CALIBURN: A Conjurer is defeated as soon as a blade makes contact with their body. When this happens, the Spirit is banished, returning to the Spirit Realm while the Conjurer is returned to their powerless mortal state.
